Skippers Island/"Earles Island" is a 24.5 acre island located in the Heart of Douglas Harbour, New Brunswick. Once you pass through the security gate you have private access via the causeway to this beautiful island retreat where you are surrounded by massive oak, cedar & maple trees including bald eagles, deer, moose and a haven for the avid bird watcher.

Here you can easily make a choice to enjoy boating on Grand Lake or if you prefer you can head to the Atlantic Ocean via the Saint John Water System.

From boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, having a camp fire on your own private beach to picking blueberries all of this is possible on Skippers Island. Or maybe just relax in your hammock while you soak in the sun and are serenaded by the cooing of the loons.
